im quite alot on youtube and twitch but since none of my adblockers seem to work anymore and im going crazy of seeing 50 adds before my vid starts is there a good free adblocker you guys recommend ?

Q: Did Ublock Origin just get removed from chrome, following in microsoft edge's footsteps?
I'd love to hear your take on adblockers, or even which browser and extensions you daily. That is all, have a good day.
Top Comment: It's happening to every chromium browser. By the middle of this year every chromium browser will have lost support for it. You need to switch to Firefox or a fork of Firefox if you care about it. It wasn't really edge that started it it was Chrome that started it but because edge and Vivaldi and Brave and just about every other browser on the planet is using chromium they're all bound to manifest V3. Some people are trying to claim that it won't harm the experience but this is not what the developers of U-Block say

Im seriosuly done with youtube why dont they just get the hint, Literally every single human hates what they are doing with blocking adblockers
And yes I am using Ublock Origin, I also tried Pie's adblocker and that didnt work either

Top Comment: Private DNS= dns.adguard-dns.com I also use Firefox with Privacy Badger and uBlock origin. This has never let me down and blocks every ad in every app I use.

Top Comment: I created a new profile with Firefox and just Ublock origin extension for watching youtube a couple of months ago because I started to get adds. It's been working fine so far.
They're slowing down performance if you use an adblocker

Top Comment: I'm sure uBlock Origin'll update quickly to fix any issues. (I'm still not getting any problems using it at all, probably in part because I also reject cookies in general for Youtube and other Google sites.)
